ENGINE AIR FILTERS & ACCESSORIES
Proper filtration in an engine air intake system is critical to ensure efficient fuel combustion while ensuring solid particulates such as dust, pollen, mold and bacteria don’t reach the cylinders. A modern engine requires several thousand times as much air as it does fuel for proper operation. Under normal operating conditions, to burn one liter of fuel you have to clean as much as 4000 liters of air.
Range of Products:
Pre-Cleaners: removes contaminant of varying sizes from entering the intake duct. Some devices collect the contaminant, while others drop the contaminant or eject it via a scavenge system and route debris out the exhaust system. These pre-cleaners extend the life of the intake air filter, and are completely self-servicing (no maintenance required).
Primary Engine Air Filter: Engine air filters are the critical barrier between the atmospheric air and the clean air required for your engine.
Cabin Air Filter: ensures the air flow to the cabin is not restricted. A lack of regular replacement results in greatly reduced effectiveness of the vehicle’s air conditioning and heating performance, as well as introducing allergens into the cabin air system.
Air Restriction Gauges: Les Hall recommends the use of an air restriction gauge to accurately determine filter change out timing. Engine air filters are often changed out prematurely, and this gauge will help optimize your service interval timing.
Additional Engine Air Intake System Accessories: There are a variety of accessories available for your air filtration system. This includes aftermarket parts to improve performance – silencers, moisture eliminators and breathers – or replacement parts for worn out gear – pipes, caps and covers.
