PLEATED FILTERS

Pleated water filters are a very common choice to remove particulate from water.  They have superior dirt holding capacity when compared to depth and string-wound water filters, fit all standard residential and light commercial filter housings, and can often be cleaned and reused.

For residential uses, many households use pleated water filters as the initial cleaning stage for incoming city or well water.  This ensures clean water for showers, toilets, washing equipment and drinking water. In addition, pleated water filters provide an appropriate level of protection for residential Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems by reducing or eliminating particulate which are harmful to the membranes used in this process.
