PRE-COAT FILTRATION – CANDLE & LEAF

When the amine solution is extremely contaminated, filtration of the Rich amine may be required.  It prevents the heat exchanger from plugging and the concern that FeS in Rich amine can dissociate in the regenerator under certain conditions to soluble iron compounds.  This cannot be removed with the filtration of the Lean Amine.

Depending on the customers specific requirements, Les Hall Filter can offer two types of mechanical self-cleaning pre-coat filters, to remove solid particles from the solution:
