How Does it Work?

This system cleans air filters with pressure-controlled air and intermittent sonic vibrations. The Sonic Dry Clean System will not harm your cartridge filters. Are the Sonic Dry Cleaned filters as Good as New Ones?

All air filters begin with a life with less than 100% efficiency. Not until a porous cake of soot builds up on the filter media ("Precoat") does the filter reach its maximum efficiency.

After the first 15% of the useful life of a high quality air filter, it becomes virtually 100% efficient. The Sonic Dry Clean System will preserve the "Precoat" on your filter making it more efficient than a new filter. This feature is extremely important in reducing the seasoning period in Powder Paint Filters.

How do you Know if the Filter is not Good Anymore?

Our cleaning procedure contains several tests and inspections. Each filter is inspected to identify physical damage to end caps, gaskets, or cages. The air filter weight and resistance to air flow is measured before and after sonic dry cleaning.

The operator examines the filter in a dark booth using a very high wattage halogen lamp making it easy to detect holes and tears in the filtration media.

Filters that do not pass any one of the above tests are rejected and not recycled. There is NO CHARGE for a REJECTED filter!!
